Bengal kittens do not look like small adults - a trait the bengal
inherited from the Asian Leopard Cat (ALC) is that it is born with
camouflage as though it were a kitten in the wild. Bengal kittens
are fuzzy and they do not get their richly colored pelts in until they
are several months old. Some start to clear up at 3 to 4 months of
age while others can be really slow to clear.
We will sell our
kittens as show/breeder quality, or as pet quality. Show/breeder
quality are those kittens with the most desirable traits of the breed.
These are the cats that will pass on the best traits of the breed.
Pet quality are those that may have a minor flaw such as a bend in the
tail, a misplaced color, or too many rib bars.
If you are interested in showing your bengal, we recommend you
purchase a good book on bengals so you will have an educated eye when
looking for your kitten.
